HARRY HOPE is committed to respecting the confidentiality of your personal data. To this end, HARRY HOPE processes your personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (RGPD) as well as Law No. 78-17 of January 6, 1978 amended in 2018.

This Privacy Policy informs all users of the HARRY HOPE Site and Services of their rights with respect to the personal data they transmit and their rights regarding its use by HARRY HOPE.

This Charter applies to the personal data of Users of the Website, Potential Candidates, Candidates, Customers and other persons whom we may contact, in particular to take up references.

As stated in law n°78-17 of January 6 1978, “Information technology must be at the service of every citizen”.

  1. Who is responsible for processing your data?

HARRY HOPE is responsible for processing your data.

As such, it determines the data to be collected for its Services and the purposes for which the data is collected.

HARRY HOPE therefore processes and protects your data in compliance with the law and in a fair and transparent manner.

  1. What does the processing of personal data involve?

Personal data includes any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person.

Thus, any processing of your personal data by HARRY HOPE is necessary for the performance of the Services.

HARRY HOPE collects and processes data, information and information of all kinds in order to provide the various Services accessible on its website www.harry-hope.com.

This data is provided directly by you or by third parties.

HARRY HOPE does not process sensitive data such as data relating to health, racial or ethnic origin, politics, philosophy or religion, trade union membership or sex life.

Potential candidate :

  • name,
  • contact details.

Thus, HARRY HOPE may contact you to determine if you want to benefit from our Services or if you could benefit from them.

Candidate :

  • last name, first name, age/date of birth, sex/gender ;
  • photography ;
  • e-mail address, telephone number, postal address ;
  • position sought, professional experience, training, employment, salary, languages spoken ;
  • family situation, marital status.

Candidates can upload their CVs and leave a message.

HARRY HOPE may receive additional information if you choose to provide it.

During the process of establishing a relationship with one of our Customers, you may also wish to send us the contact details of former employers so that our Consultants can make a reference.

This third party may provide us with additional personal information about you.

Website user :

Cookies are used to collect various usage data for the proper operation of our website.

This data enables HARRY HOPE to improve the quality of its website, to facilitate its use and generally to facilitate access to our Services.

In addition, Site Users are likely to communicate personal data that may or may not be processed automatically for the following purposes:

  • Candidate file management;
  • the transmission of information on offers and services from Harry Hope and/or its partners;
  • send information and alerts (new offers; new profile; etc).

Client recruiter :

Throughout the business relationship, HARRY HOPE holds information about its customer. In this way, HARRY HOPE is given the first and last name of the contact person and the name of the company. Additional personal data will be used, such as e-mail address and business address.

The recruiting customer has the option of attaching a message, which may constitute the transmission of additional personal data.

Third parties who can obtain additional information about a Candidate :

As part of the process of putting a Candidate in contact with a Customer, the Candidate may be asked to provide the contact details of a third party.

HARRY HOPE’s aim is to contact this third party in order to take references.

This enables HARRY HOPE to obtain details of the Candidate’s previous positions and professional skills.

  1. When do we collect your data?

Data will be collected as soon as we contact you.

HARRY HOPE collects your data at any stage of the relationship, either at each stage of the recruitment process or at each stage of the commercial relationship.

Some of your data will be transmitted to us on your own initiative, in particular when :

  • you submit your application (application form on our Site) or respond to one of our job offers;
  • you contact our Services by telephone;
  • you respond positively to a request for an interview;
  • you request our Services;
  • you are browsing the HARRY HOPE Site.

HARRY HOPE may also receive your personal data from its Customers, Suppliers, Consultants or even other Candidates.

Thus, data is collected by HARRY HOPE throughout the relationship and through various channels, as long as this data meets predefined purposes.

  1. Why does HARRY HOPE process your data?

HARRY HOPE processes your data in order to fulfil its recruitment mission in accordance with the expectations of Recruiters and Candidates.

Personal data collected by HARRY HOPE may or may not be processed automatically for the following purposes:

  • respond to your job search/collaboration requests and, if necessary, inform you if we are unable to present you with an advert that matches your search;
  • contact you to acknowledge receipt of your application;
  • check the information transmitted ;
  • distribute your information to recruiting clients who may be interested in your profile;
  • keep your data for future job offers;
  • respond to requests for further information from Recruiters to whom your application may be submitted;
  • take part in our satisfaction surveys;
  • improving our services;
  • direct marketing in order to send you information, advertisements or proposals concerning products or services relevant to you;
  • Candidate and customer file management;
  • the transmission of information about offers and services from HARRY HOPE and/or its partners;
  • the use of browsing information for statistical purposes.

The above list of purposes is not exhaustive.

  1. To whom may your data be transferred?

Your data will be treated confidentially. HARRY HOPE employees are bound by professional secrecy, which is the subject of a specific clause in their employment contract.

Thus, and in compliance with the specified purposes, your data will only be transmitted to :

  • our recruiting customers ;
  • our partners for operational purposes and to manage your requests;
  • our information and storage service providers ;
  • the judicial authorities, the Commission Nationale Informatique et Libertés, the Direction Générale de la Concurrence de la Consommation et de la Répression des Fraudes, or any other competent authority within the framework defined by law.

HARRY HOPE’s partners, whose intervention is made necessary by the nature of the operation carried out, attest to respecting the provisions relating to the protection of personal data.

Recruiting Customers undertake the same obligations as HARRY HOPE with regard to the protection of candidates’ personal data communicated to them.

HARRY HOPE stores your data only within the European Economic Area. No personal data is sold to third parties.

  1. How long is your data kept?

Your data will not be stored for longer than is necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, except where otherwise provided by law or regulation.

Candidate data is kept for a period of 2 years from the last contact with the Candidate. Beyond that, data will only be kept with your express consent.

HARRY HOPE keeps customer data for 3 years from the last contact with the customer.

HARRY HOPE undertakes to comply with the recommendations made by the French Data Protection Authority (Commission Nationale de l’Informatique et des Libertés) regarding the retention period for personal data.

  1. What are your rights and how can you exercise them?

    1. General right to object to direct marketing

    1. Data access rights

You have the right to obtain confirmation from HARRY HOPE as to whether or not your personal data is being processed by HARRY HOPE.

Where HARRY HOPE processes such data, you may request access to said data.

In accordance with Article 15 of the Regulation, you have the right to receive information about the processing of your personal data, in particular the purposes of the processing and the categories of personal data concerned.

    1. Right of rectification and right to erasure (“right to be forgotten”)

You have the right to ask HARRY HOPE to rectify your personal data if it is inaccurate. You can also complete your personal data if it is incomplete.

You have the right to obtain from HARRY HOPE the deletion, as soon as possible, of your personal data.

HARRY HOPE is obliged to delete such personal data as soon as possible, in particular if the personal data is no longer required for the purposes for which it was collected or otherwise processed.

This right to erasure is expressly provided for in Article 17 of the Regulation.

    1. Right to restrict processing

In accordance with the provisions of Article 18 of the Regulation, you have the right to obtain limitation of the processing of your personal data in certain situations.

Your limited data may only be processed with your consent.

In accordance with Article 20 of the Regulation, you have the right to retrieve part of your data in an open and readable format. This means you can reuse the data for your own purposes.
