Job description

To enhance its IT Infrastructure team, our client is seeking a skilled IT Architect/Lead to oversee tasks associated with the production, archiving, and distribution of Earth Observation Data. The individual will collaborate closely with the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and play a pivotal role in maintaining and advancing the IT infrastructure of the company, as well as project-specific ones. Additionally, the role includes supervising the company's IT team.

Profile required

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Over 5 years of experience in a similar role
- Over 5 years of experience working with intricate infrastructures
- Proficiency in infrastructure and networking virtualization, particularly VMware
- Proficient in Linux environment
- Proficient in Active Directory management
- Proficient in networking technologies (CISCO and DELL)
- Proficient in infrastructure backup tools such as VEEAM
- Proficient in monitoring tools like Nagios, Observium, and SolarWinds
- Familiarity with Firewalling, preferably Checkpoint
- Knowledge of security principles
- Experience in Kubernetes cluster administration
- Fluent in English
- Strong team collaboration skills while also capable of working independently
- Leadership abilities
- Proactive approach to tasks
- Excellent organizational and prioritization skills
- Must possess a valid work permit for the EU
- Experience with on cloud infrastructures on premises (e.g. VCloud Director or OpenStack)
